real-time data from BCM

Is a CTI link needed to get a live feed of data from the BCM? If not, how is live data retrieved for showing agent status/performance stats?

Sounds like your using a call center, if so you need reporting for call center.

I'm just wondering how the application is receiving the live data, typically a CTI link or something like that is needed

It gets the info from the IP Host computer that you connect
