Hey guys,

If any of you are like me and toying with the idea of getting an MCAD certification, the nice folks at MeasureUp have posted some free practice tests for the upcoming exams.

You can check them out at

just scroll down to the bottom, find hte exam you want, and select the demo.

np. There's some really funky questions that you wouldn't think about either: one of them deals with a hub/spoke distribution architecture, cultures, etc. I'm not even sure if my MCAD Web App study guide covers that (luckily they tell you in the help where to look it up, and they give an explanation)

heh, I failed the first time through (7/10, pass is 8/10). Just when i thought I was done with school and studying...
heh, well at least its not PowerBuilder!
:)

Those can not be real exam questions. Or is this exam easier than the old vb6 ones?

I've just completed the asp.net sample tests, and got them all right. I've been working with asp.net for two months, and haven't study a bit. When I took my mcsd6, after studing for weeks I still couln't get all the sample questions right.

I'll have to find another sample tests, and if they are all this simple, I'll take my exam next week :))) just kiding...

Well, they won't be the "exact" exam questions, but will be of the same sort of flow.

Cudos to you netang if you got that spoke/hub question off the bat! I've gotta read up on the distrubution models a bit more.

Actually, as I live in Portugal, I'm developing a multi culture app, that has to work in several countries, so I guess I just got the 'luck' of having to work with something that most programmers don't use, specially those living on the US.

Oooooo, thats good to know!

You should consider writing an FAQ or something on the whole "culture" side of asp.net programming; like you said, those of us in North America usually don't have to think about stuff like that as much.
