readonly files on server

Hi folks! Since I have an WXPP-client in my W2k-network I get an error-messages when I open an office-file (word or excel) which was formerly opend and closed!! The error messages is as follows: File can only be opend readonly. File is in use by []

Seems that the W2k-server keeps the file locked though I closed my application.

Need help
