Hi All,
I'm trying to read a .txt file into a SAS dataset that is a shared document on my companies Sharepoint site. I tried to assign it a url filename but it will not read in. i get an error message that says: (I used the dataset debug option)

ERROR: Unauthorized to retrieve URL. Use the debug option for more info.
ERROR: Read Access Violation In Task [ DATASTEP )

I tried entering my username and password in with the filename statement and that does not help. Is anyone familiar with SAS and SharePoint and could possibly help me out with this. The file is a .txt file, so maybe there is someplace that it is actually stored that I should reference besides the url name. Or perhaps I should use a different method of reading in the file than assigning a filename to the url.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Rinna
