Hello,

Can someone please let me know what does it mean AFT in 2)?

.
I'm trying to create a shorecut so users will dial only one digit [7 or 8] instead of four digits [6200 and 6270]. if i dial 6270, and 6200, both calls go through fine. BUT if i dial scenario 1) i get 'access denied'. On scenario 2) calls goes through fine.

if smdr reads as follows: "Date, time, length of call, originating trunk/DN, digits dialed, destination trunk/DN." if this is true then FT9998 is the trunk, but where does A comes from in scenario 2)?

1) 06/23 03:43P 0000:00:03 6061 6270 FT9998 7
2) 06/23 03:44P 0000:00:07 6061 6200 AFT9998 8

Can somebody help me please...
Thank you.

A = Answer Supervision is supplied.

System type would help.

on a 3300 all the info you require is in the Embedded help files.

Possibly on a 200 as well but I'm not as sure.

On the 3300 the fields are laid out as following

Thanks for your prompt reply :)
it is a 3300 v9.0.0.41.

I checked the embedded help file, how did you count to find out which 'name' applies?
Also on the example you sent how did you find "A is Answer supervision is supplied"? I must be getting blind, i saw your list twice, i can't find it?..lol

And how do i get this A inserted? :( which will be the key solution for my 'access denied' issue.
thanks again!

You don't insert answer supervision. The system is reporting that answer supervision was supplied for the call.

Maybe you should start with what the problem is instead of trying to analyse something that has nothing to do with the issue? Access denied is usually an ARS programming COR restriction.

In the help docs for the 3300 it shows that standard SMDR is sent in the following format

zmm/dd_hh:mmp_hh:mm:ss_pppp_fttt_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxmmmmmhsqqqqk_rrrr_aaaaaaaaaaaasiii__

Field h - the 60th character can be one of the following

A answer supervision (outgoing)
B called party busy (incoming)
E caller error (incoming)
T Toll-denied (outgoing), TAFAS-answered (incoming) or pickup-answered (incoming)
I internal call
P MLPP Preemption

Thanks for the help. I will check ARS and COR too. :)
