Reading Records

Hi all

can someone please tell me, is their a way in CR11 which allows records to be read in a e.g. a master record and then alls its siblings and then new line a master record and all its siblings.

Please advise if you would like more information....their is alot of information as this report is been complied from 2 different dsn and has 2 subreports....

When you link two 'tables', you get a row for every valid lnik. So if you linked accounts to transactions, each 'row' has the account details along with details of that transaction.

In Crystal, you'd normally group by account number for such a case. Maybe put the account details in the group header and transaction details in the detail lines.

Does this help? If not, please explain just what the existing report is doing, and what you want to change about it.

Thanks for the reply.....I think it was a case of monday blues.....issue has been resolved by inserting another sub-report.
