My company stores our Cognos Powerplay cubes on an AS400 drive. We have noticed a performance difference between accessing the cubes from this drive and the disk of a Windows PC; in some cases the Windows machine loads a cube in PowerPlay in 45 seconds as opposed to several minutes when retrieving the same cube from the AS400. Can anybody tell me why this would happen? Thanks in advance for your help!
