How can I read the BIOS serial number without WMI? Right now we are reading a text file we have to manually create(with VBscript) after WMI is installed. Is there a way around this? Under the Support link at they find your serial number with javascript without WMI anyone know the equivelant to that in VBA/vbscript? Can you query the DMI layer or something like that?
