Reading and Writing INI File?

Hi...

I've been trying to find one the web any working ideas for reading and writing Windows INI files. I have a project that requires reading a remote ini file from the clients machine for validation perposes. Does anyone know how or can point me in the right direction for help on solving this? Thanks..

Recent Windows versions (almost) don't utilize INI files. There is Registry 'database' (MS alias for the huge unstructured tree) for this purpose. Windows has special API for this task (for remote access and control too).
