Reading an Excel cell value

Hi,

I have a cell value in Excel which shows as "4.30" (without the double quotes). However if I read it using vbscript, the value turns to "4.3". Is there a way to retain the original look of the cell value.

It could be a number with some formatting.

If you look at the cell (which is a range) as an object and look at the properties - you can get the value and the numberformat from there.
