Is there a way that I can actually read the data on a tape like it was a normal filesystem? I have an employee that sweas up nd down that there was some data that was erased and would be an a certian tape. I can look at the veritas catalog and navigate to the location to where it "should" be, but there is 75gigs spanning 5 drives on that tape. If someone moved the data, I woulndt know where. I thought the best thing to do would be to search the whole tape for one of the filenames. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Dave
