Reading a CPU serial number

I am fairly new to MSVC and MSDN... I am trying to find a way to read a CPU's serial number through code. If anyone has some suggestions on how to do this, they would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to read the last couple of paragraphs of this article if you're considering using the serial number for any serious purpose.
