readfile90 not supported on Windows?

When I try to run readfile("

http://www.ace-installer.com")

I get the following error message;

Warning: readfile("

http://www.ace-installer.com")

- No such file or directory in c:\program files\nusphere\apache\nsdocs\test\index.php on line 135

Does this mean that this feture is not supported on Windows?

I take it by "duh" you mean you realized that you have to have the trailing slash on the URL:

readfile("[URL unfurl="true"]http://www.ace-installer.com/");[/URL]

Still didn't work. Still getting the error;

Very odd. Do I need to specify a port, i.e. ace-installer.com:80/ ??? I'm starting to wonder if this feature is supported on windows. I just have a home copy of Apache/PHP/Perl etc installed on my PC, and nothing extra special. Any more ideas?

What is the semi-colon doing INSIDE the readfile?
