What goes wrong ?

I use CLIPPER 5.2e, CA-TOOLS III
I use BLINKER and try to link in PROTECTED MODE
I try to use COM1 and COM2

THE PROGRAM DUMPS !!!
WHY ???
I NEED HELP URGENTLY
THANKS IN ADVANCE

I am running a program in protected mode useing the Telepathy library and have no problems. As Circes9 says, what error message do you recieve.

Extra info:
What I forgot to include: I'm also using the Wollongong PATHWAY stack for including TCP/IP socket communication. I Think the problem could come from linking in also that library. It has no special version for protected mode. Maybe it's not at all compliant wiht protected mode.
Who can tell me what products work together for:
a. COM PORT CONTROL (COM1+COM4)
b. SOCKET TCP/IP LIB
IN PROTECTED MODE ???
Waiting for your suggestions

The CA Clipper TOOLS III
Work fine if you have the correct version.

CTP.LIB
CTUSP.OBJ
CTINTP.OBJ

Apply the correct patches from CA.
