Basically, I want to make a directory read only so that you need a password to edit anything in it. In windows i know how to make a file non-password read only, but I really need to make it so that no-one else can edit it.Is there any program in windows that will do this or do i need to download a program.
thanks

Anyone who is in the Administrators group will still have access to it. If you're on a network (NT or 2000) anyone in the Domain Administrators group will have access to it.

There's no way other than encrypting the file that I know of to prevent this.
