I have a template that needs to be modified. The auther of the template created it as a read only file. I need to know if there is a way to overcome this, or how I can replace the template and not lose all of the macros, forms, and projects attached to it.

Hello,
Could you please try to do the following:
1) Ctrl A to highlight the whole sheet
2) Ctrl C to copy
3) Ctrl N to get a new workbook
4) Ctrl V to paste the content
Since not sure whether the module has been password protected. If not you could try to do an export and import.
