I am using Access 2000 as a front end to my SQL Server7 data.
I can link to the tables without a problem but the data is "Read Only".
The SQL7 tables have every permission I can grant.
Am I missing a setting in either SQL7 or Access that will allow the data to be "updatable" from Access?

Is the mdb on a shared drive? By default, shared drives are set to read only. If the drive is shared, it must be set to read/write to use the mdb with write permission.

It turned out that the problem was that I had not set unique keys when I set up the original links from SQL Server 7 to the Access database!
Mea Culpa!
