Read Only Form

I have a form that gets its record sourse from a query when I try to update a record, it gives me the message

"The Form is Read Only"

IF YOU MADE A GROUP QUERY YOU CAN'T MODIFY THE DATA

No, there is no grouping totals in the query

What is the value of the AllowEdits property of the Form ?
