Hi Tim,
Open the file with the password required for you to be able to edit and save file with the same name.
Someone made this file and choose that users could only open a read file, thus protecting the file, however he/she gave you the option to use and save the file under a new name.
Normally you should see a user form when opening the file giving use some options, either enter password or choose for read only. There may be a way around the showing of user form, if there is i also would like to know it
