We just got a new server and I just finished transferring a storage folder with lots of subfolders and files. After getting over to the new server noone could use their files. I got to looking and the main folder is listed as Read Only. So I go into the Properties and uncheck the Read Only box, then say yes to use it on all subfolders and directories and it does its little thang. Well they still couldnt use their files so I go back, and the main folder is again set to Read Only. I go through the same process and it does its thang again. I immediately go back to the Properties of it and its Read Only again. How do I get this Read Only attribute off of this folder for good? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That is by design. If your users are having issues accessing files, you need to check share level and file level (NTFS) permissions. The read-only check box does not have any bearing on file access.
