We are receiving PGP encrypted files as attachments to emails. The files are not read-only before they are encrypted and sent, but when we receive the email, click on the PGP icon to decrypt it, and then double-click on the attached files to save them to disk, they are saved with a read-only attribute. We have been getting around this by opening the file instead of saving it to disk, and then saving it after opening it. But we would rather be able to save the file without opening it.

I do believe it is related to PGP because if the files are sent without encryption and then saved to disk, they are not read-only.

Is there a setting somewhere for this in PGP??

Thanks a bunch!!
