read emails not saved in inbox

I have a user on Exchange 2000 using Outlook 2003 where the inbox does not save any emails. After an emails is read and the user logs off of Outlook,any rread emails are automatically deleted. A little help here,,, ay Ideas what is going on?

-Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling outlook?

-Look under tools|Rules and Alerts to see if they accidentally created a rule to delete the msg?

-Also you might check the auto-archive settings.
 
Make sure it's not something as simple as thier view is set to show only new emails...make sure it's set to view all messages.
