Read Displayinformation of 3590 Drive

Hi,

i am looking for an AIX command that show me the Information from the 3590 Tapedrive Display.

I work with AIX 5.2, the Tapedrive is installed in a 3495 Tapelibrary.
I know the tapeutil Programm, but if i want to read the Information, i must disable the Drive from the Library.
