Read bit error on NATI board 1

We have an error showing on our Nice Logger - on the 2nd NATI board. The error on the console is a Read Bit Flag failed message.

Has anyone seen this before or knows what it means. We have a tech coming to look at it today but I'd like to know what caused the error. I'll post the findings later today.

We had a tech in from our support group who knew nothing about it so now the ticket is with Nice. (Not very impress with support so far)

Btw, the error message is:

FATAL: NATI2_ReadBitFlag: BitFlag fail
<Brd, Dsp, Bitflag, 0, 0>

Have you tried a full power down?

Is this due to new hardware install? Or has the error just suddenly started appearing?

The error just started last week, there were no changes to hardware. I will try restarting the CLS and Logger tonight and let you know how it works out.

Also check the cables are plugged in properly. I'm more software oriented than hardware unfortunately.

Thanks for the advice, I checked the cables and tightened them. After the restart on Fri. that error has now cleared, there is just a warning which I'll look at on Monday but I'm not too worried since all channel are recording.
