Hi All,

I need to read ahead to determine if any records in a group will print before I print the Group Header. I'm sure that must be possible, I just can't seem to think of how to do it. Each detail line has a suppression formula, so they might not print. How can I determine this before I print the header? I'm sure it has something to do with a running total, I just don't know how to tell Crystal to evaluate the total FOR THIS GROUP before actually printing it.

If possible, eliminate the rows from the table using the record selection formula.

Otherwise, create a formula which emulates the suppression formula, and place it in the detail section (suppressed), as in:

if {MYTable.MyDate} = cdate('8/20/2002') then
0
else
1

Right click it and select Insert->Sum

Now use this in the Group Header Suppression.
