Read a *.MDB files from FPD26

Hi all,

any idea how to read data from a MDB (MS ACCESS) ? I'm using FPD26.

You're going to have a struggle trying to read Access files from Foxpro 2.x, mostly because I don't think you'll find a compatible ODBC driver - 32 bit Access vs. 16 bit Fox.
You could export the tables from Access into .dbf (or some other) format which could be read or imported into Fox, or you can upgrade your version of Fox to a newer one which could utilize the 32 bit Access ODBC driver.

you could shell to a vb script to query access table to textfile. then import to fox table.

As mentioned by DSummZZZ, not sure if it can be done. What you could do is give this a go and see if it'll work, it mentions on the MS article version 3.0 and above (It's worth a try)
