Hi Guyz,
I did a reinstallation on one of my servers running WinServer2003 and restored a previous backup. I have also been able to setup Active Directory in it. But the the server is still indicating "30 days left to activate windows" is there any thing I can do?

I do I need to buy another license?

Any contribution is welcomed.

If you run the activation wizard what does it say?? If it says something about the licence already being activated then just ring the number it gives you to ring. The product activation helpline won't give you any grief, they will probably just ask you to confirm that this licence is being used on only 1 server and then give you an activation code.

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?

you get 5 activations per product by default. If youve only activated once, you will not be charged to do it again 4 more times. After that, you have to call the MS clearinghouse to get the activation ability re-enabled. this is done in the anticipation that systems WILL fail and need reloaded with the OS (same goes for applications).
