Reactivate SQL 2005 Evaluation Version 2

I have been messing about with an Evaluation version of SQL Server 2005 on my laptop.

The evaluation period has expired and I'd like to enter
a purchased code to re-activate it and use the database I created on it.

Where do I set the code to re-activate the evaluation version?

You have to uninstall and then install the purchased version.

Darn. I was afraid of that.

Still I have a backup ).

To save the databases, just make sure the SQL Server services are stopped. Then copy the .mdf/.ldf files for each user database. These can then be attached to your new install.
