Hi everyone ............
Just a quicky ... I have XP Home Edition (I am unable to see any links to a group relating to XP Home). So how, if I am right about this, do I stand as regards questions, general chit-chat etc?
Thank you
BooM ;)

BOOMer,

This is an excellent question, and it was both professional and kind of you to ask it. The decided focus of the Forum is to and from Professional users of the client software, and XP Home by design seemed to rule that interest out of the Forum scope.

My advice would be to ask the question, as it likely has applicability well beyound the XP version involved.

Any interesting issue related to Windows XP is welcome, (my opinion), and if asked in a professional manner should soon find a professional response on this Forum.

And my personal welcome to Tek-Tips.
I suspect that all the Forum Regulars and Irregulars welcome you as well.

Best,
Bill Castner

Most people, including myself, tend to drop the "Pro" part of this forum..

Ask away as bcastner and linney are two of the best you could want to help you with your problems !!
