Turns out all is working ok with the exception of being able to access our own remote hosted website..... Odd :-0

The local net is hostname.com The website for the company is The NAT machine can resolve the name via ping or browser ok. Workstations however return a "unknown host" error in both ping and browser.(All other internet host names seem to resolve ok) You can get a good ping or browser access if you enter the ip address of the website which tells me I am confusing local DNS with what it thinks is a local host name. I figure I can resolve the problem by manualy adding a host entry to the local DNS server, but is this an acceptable method, or is it going to bite me when we eventualy start hosting the site local instead of remote.
