Hi gent's

having done this ONCE years ago.

Does anyone have a procedure for this.

The user's PC is coming up with an error
"80% full" sorry, not exact speak, I seem to remember,
it involves re-sizing the database.

so, also

1> is this a user procedure ?
2> is this an admin procedure ?
3> does this effect stats, in other words need to be done out of hours

regards

bump ?

any ideas
cheers

Hi Lancbomb, I would delete some of the old data using CCM Database Admininstration Application... You will need to stop CCM services except Broker service and log of all agents, from the Application, then delete the data (it should be shown in monthly folders which you can right click and delete). Or could go into SQL enterprise manager and resize db this way, either way should be out of hours. I would suggest agreeing with users to keep a set amount of data ie:- 1 years worth and deleting each month.

What version of CCM and SQL are you using?

If you using SQL6.5 you can do this from the DBMT tool. This need to run on the SQL server. Also check the size of tempdb it should be at least 100 Mb.
