I am a pbx engineer and am having an issue trying to get sip trunks working through a checkpoint firewall. The problem with check point is that it automatically changes/nats my source port of 5060 to some high numbered port, and on the return doesnt change it back again. Apparently this problem seems to be well known, but no fix is in place for this. I believe its a sip_early_nat problem. I have tried the option of changing sip_any to sip_none and this hasnt made any difference. Is there anybody who has managed to get sip trunks working through a checkpoint firewall without using a proxy, stun, ice, siparator servers.
