I am having many instances of users getting prompted to setup the Notes client as if it's the first time they run the client. A quick-fix I have is to add the line Setup=60, usually below the MailFile line, into notes.ini. I would then only go through a shortened version of the setup process. For some people, it happens everyday, for others every week. In some cases, there's no notes.ini and I would have to copy a skeleton one. In those cases, it usually happens after the user gets an error message about processing notes.ini. No Notes splash screen, just the error message in a rectangular window. How does the problem happen in the first place? Is it a common bug somewhere? The network OS is Novell NetWare 5.1, workstation is NT 4 w/ SP6, Domino is 4.x running on IBM Mainframe, and client is Notes 4.6.1. Any help would be apprciated.
