re saving report

Hi

a report already exists on the CE10 . I tried modifying the report that is on the local disk and tried to save it from CR 10 designer to CE . 'dailog box appears saying the report already exists do you want to replace it ' when i click on yes and go to CE to view the report,the report is not actually replaced, any ideas

Hi,
A couple of things:
Are you logged into the CE system as a user with 'Full Control' to the object you want to replace?

A better way to do this is to Open the Report directly from the CE system and just click Save when done modifying it..This way, its ID# does not change..

You may, depending on your Refresh Options for that report, have to go to the CMC and reset any database passwords and report descriptions that existed before the mods were made.
