Hi Guys I want to set up an IP500 to take incoming calls on BRI and then be able to call out again via SIP trunk, so call in from mobile then redial out to international number via SIP in order to save money on international calls from a mobile phone (keeping in mind that I would be paying for the local call to the ip500). Is this at all possible?

yes
just add the incoming call route

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Hi IPGuru add the incoming call route and then set the destination to the sip trunk I assume? what if I want an announcement, what would your recommend for this?

@rednx

Add to ICR and destination to an Extn that forwards the call using your SIP trunk.

For the announcement,if I understand it right, you'll be needing a VM Pro for this.

Thanks for the pointer cuzades, I was think also that VMPro would have to handle the announcement. I wanted to have the caller hear something like "enter the number you wish to dial followed by the pound key" for example.
