Hello,

Our company was just purchased and has undergone a name change. I need to re-record the greeting that outside callers hear when they connect to our system. We're currently using an Octel 250 connected to an NEC 2400 IPX. The system was set up many years ago and I've been trying to read through the thousand page user manual, but I just can't quite seem to understand how it's set up. There is no actual mailbox for the extension the greeting is on, which seems to be normal if I understand the manual correctly. I'm at a loss as to how to access the "phantom" mailbox to change the message. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You write "Octel 200/300" in the head line, but in the text it says Octel 250.
Since these stems are quite different, I need to know what type it is?
