Re-program the "Messages" hard button

I am working with an S8500 and Avaya 2410 phones.

One of my users was cleaning her phone and now the hard coded Messages button just dials 3 instead of the whole extension to get VMs. How and where is this button programmed?

The button for voice mail is actually administered in the PBX. Do 'change station x' and look at the bottom of page 4 (CM 5.2.1).

If I were you I would Check for a stuck button on the phone..
Do all the other buttons work ok on the phone.

I deleted and recreated the station and the button works now. I didn't know that button could be re-programmed from the phone.
