My last problem resulted in 0 responses, I have been doing some further investigation.
Using the nsradmin -c command it would seem I have the ability to remove some volumes from the SILO in question, it also shows that I have have 1-141 slots available.
My problem, will deleteing these using nsradmin -c also update the media database, ie is it safe to do this, I don't mind losing some of the older volumes but it would be a disaster to lose the newer ones.
Finally I would therefore assume that when adding volumes the licence is not validated only when I try to use them.
