Hi,

I'm having issues with processing time of the files.
eg:In our system 0.5MB files are taking 10 minutes to process.

how can i do the performance tunning.I'm trying to change the eventserver settings(Trace is off & changed Page count & pagesize)But still having the same issues.

Is there anyother thing i'm missing to do.

may be good to see the log file.

if using 8.0 turn on the perf tuner and see where the map is spending time.

Hi,

It is 6.5 and platform is UNIX and adapter's used are file & sink.

Get a copy of 8.1, install and using a copy of the map(s) run the profiler. Also use the dstxpage program to set the best page size and count. Check CPU usage while the map is running.
