Hello,

I'm using Crystal Reports XI. We just upgraded to SQL Server 2005. The database has been transerred to the new server. These crystal reports uses an ODBC Connection to execute a stored procedure. I recreated a new ODBC Connection to point to the new server (this works). I then went into the crystal reports and set the data source location to point to the new server. When I did this I received an error message that says...

" Database Connector Error: 222018(Microsoft) [SQL Native Client][SQL Server] Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value '%' to data type int. [Database Vendor Code:245]"

These crystal reports worked fine until we did the upgrade. Does anyone know what this error message means and how to fix it??

Thanks for all your help!

You are not using ODBC, as evidenced by the error "[SQL Native Client]".

Set the database location from the database menu and let us know what happens.

Hello,

My understanding is that this is the new SQL Server ODBC Connection that uses the 2005 drivers.

I've attached a screen shot of the wizard. I restarted my computer this morning and I'm no longer getting this error.

Thanks for your help!

I cannot view the attchment.
