I have a 3300 which has had the licenses manually installed, is it possible to re-sync this controller to the amc ?

perhaps upgrading the software level and then try to resync to amc.........will this work ?

Yes that works
I needed to do the offline licensing and later i could do it online again
No need to upgrade

You can change to sync at any time providing you have SSH (Port 22) enabled through your firewall, you also need to know the DNS Settings. The only time you woud need to upgrade is if you are planning on/or are part of a cluster and want to move licenses between Mitel Controllers. By upgrading and sync'ing the application record whilst upgrading you dont get to see the password which unlocks the ability to move licenses (Or the lazy way put in a new Sys ID or Ibutton)....
