I'm having a problem backing up(ArcServe Exchange Addon) my Exchange server (5.5 sp3), because Windows Messaging isn't working. Apparently, I need Windows messaging to configure a mail profile in Outlook which is needed for the backup. There is no "Mail" icon in the control panel, but windows messaging is checked off as installed in Add/Remove programs under the NT setup tab. It won't let me uncheck and re-check the option and I'm really curious to see if it'll knock out my exchange. Has anyone seen this before(NT 4.0 sp5)? What did you do? I also tried right clicking on the Outlook icon and the properties (i.e. mail profile) never popped up. Thanks and have a happy new year!
