Re-Installing ArcServe 11.5 issue 1

Sorry if this has been posted already I couldn't find it.

I had a server with a the data partition that arcserve was installed on fail and lost its database (sql)

When I uninstalled and tried to reinstall Arcserve it says the product is already installed even though I have deleted all of the associated program files and (from what i can handle) cleaned the registry of CA's entries.

Has anybody else seen this before, and is there a utility that can wipe off an arcserve install so I can re install it? (sort of like nonav?)

Maybe try the "Windows Installer Cleanup" utility? I actually had succes with a similar issue with MS Project.
