Re-Initializing a Legend CKE4

Howdy all,
We are being asked to install a used Legend with a CKE4 processor. Unfortuantely, we are not too familar with the older Legends. I know the steps for the Magix. The part we are stuck on is the Hidden F3 feature when re-formatting slot "00", not sure what the steps are in the Legend.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply Pepperz. We tried that and it did not work for us. An ex-employee told us that he had this problem a couple times and told us to try the following..."F4, F3, F3" for some reason that worked. Ever heard of this situation.
This is during the demand test step.

That sequence will not work. The Legend and Magix have the same CKE4 and CKE5 processors. Follow the same steps with the Legend as you would with the Magix. TipHelp@charter.net

If defaulting from a MLX-20L go to Maintenance - Slot - 00 - Demand test - Press the 2nd button below Peek 2 times - Press Yes at default warning. Should be able to do this from the standard SPM screen as well.

If all else fails open up the processor and pop off the jumper near the battery for about 10 seconds and pop it back on. This will default all programming. Brian Cox

Doing it the way Brian suggested will clean the processor of any corrupt data as well. Doing a simple default usually clears everything, but the cleanest is to remove the battery strap, especially on the Magix since they are readily accessible.
