Re-Initialize Octel 250

I have an Octel 250 that was given to me, but I have no password info and need to Re Initialize.

Could someone please lay out step by step instructions to re-init an Octel 250?

at the enter boot command do a ctrl S and follow the menu.

You will need to have the engineering bit turned on to do this and if you don't it will not let you in the utility.

Only Avaya or a few of us that have been doing this for a long time can turn it on.

Ken is right on target about the engring bit. Some of us can do this and do it in our sleep.

I was able to turn the service bit on and get into the offline menu 20 to re-init the system.
