I am trying to grep for users logged on to the system for a certain amount of time. I tried grep '[3-9][0-9]:[0-9][0-9]' I am getting everyone logged on to the system instead of just the people who have been idle for more than 30 minutes. Can anyone help me with this.

Assuming you are looking to do an "idleout" style program; see
