Re-engineer BEA Tuxedo to Orbix

hi!
I'm involved in a project in which I am supposed to re-engineer a system in BEA Tuxedo Transaction manager to CORBA - Orbix. I have worked in CORBA for more than 2 years. But BEA is new to me. I download the product catalog to realize that it is vast and confusing - has support for everything from mainframe to message queue's. Where do I start off from. Thanks to suggest any books or URL. All suggestions are welcome.
