Re : Echo on ip sets

I have a mitel 3300 cxi controller running on version 7.1 version software and i only have 8 ip sets(5212ip dual mode). the phones for some reason seem to have echo-ing when calls are made or received internal or external.

has anybody come across this before and do you have a fix for this ?

There are so many reasons why it could do so. First of all, are those calls made over speakerphone or handset? The second what kind of external line do you have? There is a parameter in classes of service which controls audio signal over the analog line during the progress of the connection. Please describe your environment, media, direction of calls.
