Is it possible to install windows millenium and windows 2000 and have a dual boot system and if so could someone give me instructions on how to perform this task.
A few key points; a) backup all data including contact lists and emails, b) you will need to reinstall all software applications so have CDs available and c) strongly recommend installing w2k on its own partition. Good luck.
If you have WinME installed already, then you shouldn't need to worry about it at all (though it is a good idea to back everything important up just in case). Simply boot from CD with the Win2K CD in the drive. This will launch setup without loading Windows ME.
Somewhere along in the setup, you'll get the option to partition then format the free space on the drive. I strongly suggest as well to put Win2K on its own partition.
