Hello all..

I'm experiencing an issue sending digits from Nortel to AVAYA.

AVAYA states they are getting "0699". Expected digits are "6306990"...

Any help is greatly appreciated..

How are you making the connection? By using CDP? (LD 87) or are you using 63 as an ACOD for the route? or what?

If users dial 06990 and you want the far end system to get 6306990, then your DMI needs to INST 63. What am I missing here? If users truly dial only five digits, then you also want your FLEN=5

I changed to the following :
INST from 00 to 63
AVAYA now states that it is no longer routing over the TIE Line... Now I'm not sure how its getting to AVAYA, but its working and they are getting the correct digits.

Thanks much for your reply... I'll run with this...

If you print your RLB in LD 86, is it using RT 13?
